For those persons interested in visiting amazing and characteristic places, the mountains of Villaputzu have got natural monuments and routes very enchanting. In Baccu Locci there are the ruins of ancient mines which take part of Sardinian Geo-Mining Park: in Baccu Locci there are several buildings, washery (which has got only the carrying structure), warehouse for machineries, old machine shop, a little artificial dam. Other mines are situated in S’Acqua Arrubia (Villaputzu) and in San Vito (Monte Narba).

In the neighbourhood of Porto Corallo there are several caves: few caves are near the Saint Nicola Church, while the most important one, named “Is Angurtidorgius”, is in Su Pranu tableland. It has got a wide entry, it is possible walking inside for an hundred meters, while the rest of the cave can be visited only using diving suit and rowing boats. In the walls of the cave is possible seeing some fossil remains.
