In north of Porto Corallo there is the Murtas beach (Cala de s’Acqua Durci), it is far away few kilometers (five minutes by car). It is considered one of the wonders of Sardinia south east thanks its white sand mixed with small beach pebbles, fine gravel and the crystalline water. The beach is long 6 kilometres, countryside is reach of water, in fact there are few ponds and rivers which flow along the beach. The area is a Site of Community Importance for richness of flora and fauna. The presence of archeological site in this area has to be signalized.
